More from Aron

My name is Aron – I’m 29 years old. I was born and raised in Toronto. I’m currently a gym teacher.

My Experience with Melanoma

I first encountered melanoma in first year university almost 10 years ago.  At first I was scared but with every day became more and more optimistic. Near the end of my chemo I was confident about beating the disease. Now I try not to take anything or anyone for granted. The most important thing was and is to stay positive.

Since the Diagnosis

I learned how solid my family and friends were. They drove me to my appointments, skipped school to be by my side, kept my spirits high and truly helped me beat this disease. I could not have done it without them.

Advice I’d Give

Stay positive.  The sun will come up tomorrow!

I came across your video when one of my friends posted it on facebook. I am 20 and I only wish that I could’ve seen it when I was younger. It is truly eye opening and I have reposted it in hopes that it will be spread so as many people as possible can hear the message of Malignant Melanoma.

I am 29 years old. I am in my second year of teaching 4th grade. I went to the doctors today to have them look at a spot on my arm. They decided to cut it out and send it off to be tested. I will find out in two weeks what the next step is. My doctor told me about this video. Reading your story and others is really helping me stay positive.
